§Terms of Service for Stat Summoner Bot (Version 0.5.1)

§1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Stat Summoner bot (hereafter referred to as “the Bot”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the Bot.

§2. Description of Service

The Bot provides information and statistics related to League of Legends, including:

  • Retrieval of player statistics (ranks, favorite champions, match history).
  • Detailed information about champions (roles, win rate, recommended builds).
  • Generation of random champions according to a specified role.
  • Tracking in-game activity of certain players for a determined duration.
  • Displaying the list of followed players on the Discord server.

§3. Data Collection and Use

  • Data Collected: The Bot collects only information voluntarily provided by users, such as summoner names and public Discord identifiers (like channel IDs).
  • Use of Data: The data is used exclusively to provide the Bot’s functionalities, such as retrieving statistics via Riot Games’ API.
  • Data Storage: The collected information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties.
  • Privacy: No sensitive personal data is collected or processed by the Bot.

§4. User Responsibilities

By using the Bot, you agree to:

  • Not misuse the Bot or use it in any way that is contrary to Discord’s Terms of Service or Riot Games’ Terms of Use.
  • Provide accurate information when required for the Bot’s operation.
  • Respect other users and not use the Bot to harass or harm others.

§5. Limitation of Liability

  • The Bot is provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties.
  • The developer of the Bot cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Bot.
  • The developer does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided by the Bot.

  • The Bot’s source code is protected by copyright laws and is licensed under the GNU GPLv3 License.

  • Important Notice: This project is licensed under the GNU GPLv3 License. This line overrides the GPL-3.0: I do not authorize the deployment of a version of this software that is intended to reach an audience. Please use the official version instead. The use of the source code must be done only in a local context (accessible only by dev) with the aim of improving the software.

  • Trademarks, logos, and other content from League of Legends are the property of Riot Games. The Bot is not affiliated with Riot Games.

§7. Changes to the Terms

  • The developer reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.
  • Changes will be communicated via an announcement on the Discord server.
  • Continued use of the Bot after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
